Koh Tao, which means “Turtle Island” in Thai, is situated to the north of Koh Samui and Koh Phangan. It is known for its vibrant coral reefs and is a renowned destination for diving and snorkeling. Koh Nang Yuan is a group of three small islands connected by a sandy isthmus. It is located near Koh Tao. Both Koh Tao and Koh Nang Yuan can be reached by boat from Koh Samui and other nearby islands. Many tour operators offer day trips or longer stays to explore these islands.
The little islands of Koh Tao and Kho Nangyuan, which are well-known for their turquoise seas, brilliant coral reefs, and an abundance of colorful fish, make great destinations for snorkeling day trips since they are not as crowded with tourists as their adjacent islands. Start the day off well with a pre-departure breakfast on the pier and a convenient hotel pickup. Then take the speedboat ride on the warm seas to the first snorkeling spot, which is Mango Bay, an isolated area of Koh Tao. After lunch at a seaside restaurant, go back on board and proceed to Koh Nangyuan’s green bays. This is one of the greatest places to snorkel in Thailand, where you may explore the shallow reefs. As the day cools off, get ashore to stroll for ten to fifteen minutes to the viewpoint, which offers breathtaking views of the island connected by sandbars below.

We arrive at the pier and board the speedboat. Put on a life vest and let’s start the Koh Tao tour!
We arrive on Koh Tao and discover a nice bay for snorkeling. The exact position depends on the season and weather conditions. We enter either Mango Bay, Hin Wong Bay, or Lighthouse Bay, where you can explore the incredible underwater life.
After snorkeling in the pristine seas, head to the shore for a Thai-style lunch. In the restaurant, you may eat a variety of Thai foods, including rice and curries, chicken, and pad Thai.
We head to Koh Nang Yuan, where you may relax on the beach, climb to the viewpoint, and snorkel in the Japanese garden. We will have enough time to do all three tasks. Relax, snap photos, and enjoy the wonderful surroundings!
At 03:00 PM, it’s time to depart this lovely location. Our speedboat will take us back to Koh Samui in about an hour. Enjoy the vistas and the blue waters, see the flying fish or sunbathe in the front of the boat!
